Raghav Rao was a boarder in East Wing, 8 bedder (1st dorm after the dining hall) , along with Anil Rupani (R.I.P), Vasudev Rao, Prashant Kurdukar, PLN Prabhu, Subodh Raj Mathur (R.I.P). He was also called “Bandicoot” for some reason – no one is sure why!
He was more into sports than studies and was a hell of a soccer player. He was also large-hearted and would willingly share all the goodies that were sent from his home in E. Godavari District. His “nuclear” mango pickles were legendary and very much sought after!

Raghav, a close soccer buddy of mine - I can still feel the tough leather wet from the Saturday morning dew which we would head to each other till it hurt. We all miss you Raghav.
