The camaraderie and lifelong friendships are what define my HPS experience, the amazing conversations we had after dinner, just hanging out on a lazy weekend on the sprawling campus, zooming across Secunderabad on Rajender Prasad’s Italian bike, the ultimate rebel, RIP. Bunking out of school for a dosa or movie with my partner in crime Ravi. Our scout outings. Ultimately our transition from adolescence to early adulthood, those long legs of Ann Brancroft in 'The Graduate’, the movie we all went at Sangeeth after our ISC exams. HPS had teachers who taught students to think out of the box, multi-dimensional, and our success is in a large measure due to their vision.

After school went on to Gandhi Medical College, was active in student politics, was a member of the Student’s Union.
After that went to work in the Paediatric Emergency Department at Lagos Children’s Hospital, worked with Anil Rupani. We went to Dublin, Ireland for our DCH , I went on for 18 months for a paediatric fellowship at the University of Vienna . Returned to India 1987 , set up my own practice, also consultant to several hospitals, Apollo and Shenoy. Moved to the US in 1994 , after my residency at Brooklyn Children’s Maimonides Medical Center, had a short stint in Kansas to get a visa waiver, and finally moved to Atlanta in 1999, and have been a partner in a 5 member group, am Board Certified by the American Board of Paediatrics and Fellow of the American Academy of Paediatrics and The Indian Academy of Paediatrics.
